Bow Valley Neighbourhoods:

Canmore

Located approximately 80km west of Calgary, Canmore is a thriving mountain town with over 17,000 full-time residents as well as a vibrant community of visitors and part-timers.

Cougar Creek

Cougar Creek is a lovely, family friendly neighbourhood with one of my favourite cafes as well. Let’s check it out!

South Canmore

This is my neck of the woods, and I love it! With easy access to town and all its amenities, South Canmore still offers plenty of nature, too.

Lions Park

Lions Park is one of my favourite areas, close to both the Bow River and downtown Canmore. It’s home to many full time residents.

It’s important for foreign buyers to understand both the restrictions surrounding purchases in Canmore, as well as the opportunities available in nearby communities. Learn more in this guide.

Calgary Neighbourhoods:

Northwest Calgary

Home to the University of Calgary, the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and one of the largest urban parks in Canada, Northwest Calgary is a lovely region which is also close to the mountains.

North Calgary

With easy access to downtown, Stoney Trail, and the Calgary International Airport, North Calgary is an extremely convenient place to live.

West Calgary

With quick access to the mountains, downtown, and Calgary’s ring road, it’s easy to get to anywhere in the city from one of West Calgary’s
27 neighbourhoods.

Whatever you’re looking for, the neighbourhood for you is just around the corner!
